- Start with Salesforce Foundations, which Salesforce lists at $0 and which includes Agentforce Builder and Prompt Builder.
- Take the free Trailhead module “Agentforce Key Components: Quick Look” (about 5 minutes).
- Build a first agent in Agentforce Builder for one narrow job.
- Test it with your admin before customers see it.
- Agent actions run on paid Flex Credits ($500 per 100k credits) or per conversation ($2).

Free or paid?
Free: no. Salesforce Foundations is listed at $0 and includes Agentforce Builder, but running agents needs paid Flex Credits, Conversations or licenses and a Salesforce org, so there is no usable free plan on its own. Paid: the lowest price we could verify on the official pricing page is $5/month (other plans may exist).
